Submission Guidelines
These submission guidelines outline the process for submitting manuscripts to Veridion Press publications, including peer-reviewed journals, scholarly books, edited volumes, and conference proceedings.
Authors are encouraged to review these guidelines carefully before submitting their work to ensure a smooth and efficient editorial and peer-review process.
Before You Submit
Prior to submission, authors should ensure that:
- The manuscript falls within the scope of the intended journal, book series, or conference proceedings
- The manuscript complies with the Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
- All authors have approved the final version of the manuscript
- Ethical approvals and required declarations are in place
- The work has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere
Failure to meet these requirements may result in delays or return of the manuscript prior to peer review.
Submission Process
Step 1: Select the Appropriate Publication
Authors should identify the most suitable publication outlet based on discipline, scope, and format. This may include:
- A specific journal
- A book or edited volume
- Conference proceedings

Step 2: Prepare Submission Materials
A complete submission typically includes:
- The manuscript file prepared according to the Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
- Title, abstract, and keywords

- Statements regarding funding, conflicts of interest, and ethical approval (where applicable)
Step 3: Submit the Manuscript

Upon successful submission, authors will receive confirmation acknowledging receipt of their manuscript.
Initial Editorial Assessment
All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening to assess:

- Ethical and integrity considerations
Manuscripts that do not meet basic requirements may be returned to authors for revision or declined prior to peer review.
Peer Review

- Reject

Revisions and Resubmission
When revisions are requested, authors should:
- Address reviewer and editor comments carefully and systematically
- Submit a revised manuscript within the specified timeframe
- Provide a response document explaining how comments were addressed
Revised manuscripts may be subject to further review.
Acceptance and Production
Once a manuscript is accepted:
- Authors will be notified formally
- The manuscript enters production, including copyediting and formatting
- Authors may be asked to review proofs prior to publication

Ethical Declarations and Disclosures
All authors are required to disclose:
- Funding sources
- Conflicts of interest

Originality and Prior Publication
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:
- The work is original
- It has not been published previously in its submitted form
- It is not under review elsewhere
Any prior dissemination (e.g., preprints, conference presentations) must be clearly disclosed at submission.
Author Responsibilities
Authors are responsible for:
- Accuracy of content, data, and references
